Hi!
This is a beautiful vintage Eddie Carmel Giant Ring from the Circus Freak show.
This promotional lucky ring has been mine since about 1964 when my mother took me to
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus
in New York City.  I remember this giant of a man taking off this ring from one of his sausage sized fingers and handing it down to me.  He was sitting in a huge chair.  The ring has been kept safely in a drawer ever since, so it's condition is perfect. I've done a bit of research and found various tidbits of info via the net, this from Wikipedia:
Eddie Carmel was
born Oded Ha-Carmeili on March 16, 1936 and passed away from a heart attack on August 14, 1972.  He was Israeli-born and suffered from
gigantism
resulting from a
pituitary t
umor
. He was popularly known as "The
Jewish
Giant
", "The Happy Giant," and "The World's Biggest Cowboy."
I've also read that most of these rings are signed, but a special promotion of unsigned rings were sold....who knows?
