Details
Description:
A colorful antique 10 inch figural carnival chalk ware or chalkware figurine. The figurine is cast in the form of a child wearing very colorful cowboy attire with a holster and holding the gun. He is wearing a hat and a vest with what we believe a sheriff's star on his chest. The Boy is winking and has a nice smile on his face. The front of the piece is colored, while the back is uncolored but shows details of the holster and his other hand drawing another gun. The piece still has some remnants of glitter on the sheriff's star. The cowboy has red cheeks and lips, blond hair, and blue highlighted black eyes. He is wearing black shoes and a red and blue colored hat with a string holding it on his head. The figurine has nice details showing the hat string ending in a long horn decoration, showing the strings holding the covers over his pants, and showing the burettes in the holster among other details. The casting, of this hollow piece, is very well done and shows great details of the face, the hair, the hat, and details of the clothing. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece:
This is a nice and old piece with a colorful and very desirable form. It would make a worthy addition to your collection.

The figurine is in very good condition. The piece is intact without breaks, hairlines or repairs. It does have some minor chips along the edge of the base and especially at the point of the shoes, which can be seen in the photos. The piece has surface chips and losses of coloring, which can be seen in the photos. The piece is also soiled and shows scratches throughout. In addition, the piece has a few of the normal manufacturing and casting defects you would expect in a piece like this such as slubs, dimples, small holes, mold lines, uneven surfaces, and uncolored spots.
